The question is how do you have open plan living when your house is a cube with a square plan with a stair in the middle of it? The Cube House does it by wrapping your open plan around the stair! So the Kitchen and dining are are on one leg, and the living room makes up the entire rest of the other leg. How about the rest of the donut? Home office, laundry and bathroom. Its very practical, really!
